Frequently Asked Questions

What Are the Advantages of IV Therapy?

IV Therapy is a safe method to replenish fluids and nutrients with 100% Bioavailability of electrolytes, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants. Stones River Hydration and Wellness has created specialized IV Therapies to maximize your hydration, health, performance, and recovery. All of the ingredients are sourced from FDA-approved facilities.

Are IV Therapies Quick and Effective?

IV Therapy typically takes on average 20-40 mins for a mini infusion of 500mL and 30-60 mins for a regular 1000mL infusion.  Times depend on IV Access, if you have little veins and the nurse can only get a small 24g IV it could take up to 2 hours to complete 1000mL. If you are concerned about time please discuss this with your nurse.

IV Infusion of vitamins provides “100% Bioavailability” meaning there is nothing lost or wasted as in the digestion process where you can lose up to 80% of a orally consumed vitamin. The IV fluid helps in flushing toxins and helping achieve hydration balance quickly. Our full size IV vitamin infusions have lasting benefits for 1-2 weeks!

Who Administers the Services?

Our nurse Jason is a highly-trained professional with 9 years of experience in the field. He was a ER Nurse for 8.5 years before coming to Stones River Hydration and Wellness.  He will take the utmost care to ensure that your service exceeds expectations and is as safe as possible.

Who can receive an IV treatment?

Anyone who is in good health and is of sound mind.

We cannot offer services to persons with liver or kidney disease, as they will struggle to clear the vitamins from their system. We also do not give IV treatment to those with congestive heart failure and uncontrolled hypertension.

If you are pregnant, we must receive a letter from an obstetrician giving permission for treatment to be performed and how often.

Breastfeeding moms may receive our infusions, our vitamins are all pharmacy grade from a 503B pharmacy. We encourage breastfeeding moms to get Vitamin Infusions to help keep their bodies running, the extra fluids and needed vitamins will help you produce the best milk for your child.

Can I get B12 shot and how long do the sessions last, and what are the effects?

We offer several treatment options at our shot bar, including B12 shots, immunity shots and weight loss shots. Our shots typically take a few seconds to administer. The results will vary based on current health but typically become noticeable within a few hours. The benefits will depend on the individual but last 5-8 days on average.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept all major debit and credit card payments. We also accept mobile phone payments.

Do you offer services to wedding parties/bachelorette/bachelor parties?

We can provide these services, please call 615-488-8805 for more information.

Do I need an appointment?

Walk-In’s are welcome during our business hours.  Appointments can be made online to streamline your visit and guarantee your spot and time. It also gives our nurse a chance to look things over and can contact you if needed.  A phone call or email is required for in-home concierge service after business hours or on the weekend. This is to see if there is availability.

What is your mobile/concierge service?

This is a great service where we will come to you! We are mobile in Rutherford County.

There is a concierge fee of $100 to come to you (waived for 3 or more drips) plus the cost of your IV Infusion and taxes. You will need to call or email for availability. Once booked the concierge fee will be non-refundable (unless cancellation is made 24 hours in advance) if you cancel.

Hydrate or emergency room?

We are not a substitute for medical attention and we do not diagnose or treat any illness or disease. If you require just hydration or boosters, the difference between us and the ER is cost and comfort. The average ER cost is high and the wait time is long.

Do I need to get any testing done prior?
No. We do not require any testing prior, but our medical history and consent forms must be filled out prior to you receiving any of our services.
